KS Planner
Privacy Policy

KS Planner ("we", "us") provides room scanning, floor-plan and 3D planning tools through the KS Planner iOS app and the ksplanner.com web app. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address and, optionally, your name, when you create an account with email, Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes.
- Your content — room scans (USDZ/GLB 3D models), floor plans and the components you place in your projects. These are uploaded to your account so they sync across devices.
- Nothing else. We do not collect location history, contacts, advertising identifiers or any data used to track you across other apps and websites.
How we use it
- To operate the service: store and convert your scans, sync your projects, sign you in.
- To send transactional email only — e.g. account verification codes (sent from noreply@ksplanner.com). No marketing email.
Camera and LiDAR
The app uses the camera and LiDAR sensor solely to scan rooms while you are actively scanning. Camera frames are processed on-device by Apple's RoomPlan framework; only the resulting 3D geometry (not photos or video) is uploaded.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising. Data is processed by the following service providers strictly to operate KS Planner: our hosting infrastructure, and Brevo (transactional email delivery).
Data retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account) — this permanently removes your account, your projects and their scan files from our servers. You can also request deletion by email at support@ksplanner.com.
Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to your projects requires authentication with signed tokens.
Children
KS Planner is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the effective date above.
